What this calculation shows
Many self employed people look only at what the client paid and treat that as earnings. It is not. Materials, helpers and a long list of costs that almost nobody writes down come out of that money.
This calculator runs the simplest math there is: it takes what you charged, subtracts what you spent and shows what is left. Then it divides by the days you worked, so you can see what your day was worth.

A worked example
A painter closes a job for $1,000. He spends $300 on paint and materials, pays $200 to a helper and takes 2 days to finish.
The math goes like this: $1,000 minus $300 in materials minus $200 for the helper leaves $500. Across 2 days, his day was worth $250. And out of every $100 the client paid, $50 stayed with him.
It looks fine, but that $500 still has to cover gas for the van, insurance, the tool that broke and taxes at the end of the year. That is why running this math once a month, with everything included, changes the picture.

Does this calculator store my numbers?
No. The math runs inside your own phone or computer and no value is sent or saved anywhere. When you close the page, the numbers are gone. If you fill in the contact form at the end, only your name and WhatsApp reach us.
Why is the result not my real profit?
Because this math only removes the materials and helpers from that one job. It leaves out everything you pay all month long, such as gas, insurance, phone, tools and taxes. Those costs exist even when you are not on a job, so what truly remains is always less.
Does it work for cleaning, construction and landscaping?
It works for any job you charge as a fixed service. Cleaning, construction, painting, landscaping, HVAC, countertop and carpentry all behave the same way: what the client paid goes in, materials and helpers come out, and the rest is the result of that job.
Is this a tax calculation?
